In our Board & Train program, your dog stays with an instructor 24/7 for anywhere from a weekend to a 3 week (or longer) immersive training stay. Because your dog is with an instructor all day, every day, we’re able to work on real-life behavior—not just obedience in a quiet room.
Pictured here is Inka the standard poodle who did a 4 week board and train and I took to a Highschool class outing!
✅ Unlike many traditional Board & Train programs, our training is rooted in positive reinforcement and behavior science. That means we teach skills through motivation, consistency, and clarity—so your dog learns confidently and you get results you can maintain. We’ve been training dogs since 2010, so you can feel confident your dog is learning with skilled professionals.
✅ One dog at a time.
I don’t take more than 1 Board & Train dog at once...your dog gets 100% of my attention. (although there can be days of layover between a dog coming and going)
✅ Real-life structure all day
This is where Board & Train shines. With your dog living in a structured routine, I can address things like impulse control, listening under distractions, and household manners in the moments they actually happen.
✅ Transfer to your home (included)
Every Board & Train includes a private session at our facility or in-home session so you fully understand what your dog learned, how to keep it going, and how to handle real-life situations moving forward.
Common goals
Note: In a 1-week stay, we won’t realistically cover everything. We’ll prioritize what matters most to you and build a strong foundation.
To help your dog succeed in the real world, Board & Train includes field trips to multiple dog-friendly locations around town. This allows us to practice skills with distractions and build calm, confident behavior outside the home.
If your dog is able—and with your permission—I also like to include a puppy swim session at a local indoor dog swimming pool as a confidence builder and positive outlet.
You can choose the timeframe based on your goals and your dog’s needs. In general:
The longer the stay, the more time we have to proof behaviors and make them stick.

To make sure this is the right fit, I’ll ask a few quick questions first and if we have never worked together ill schedule a meet and greet!
Tell me about your dog:
You’ll be added to a Private group chat where we share progress updates every 1–3 days. You’ll see what we’re working on, what your dog is mastering, and how you can continue it at home. It’s a great way to feel involved, learn alongside your dog, and stay in the loop throughout the stay.
